Are they trying to tell me something? Like maybe it's time to start thinking about switching back from my maternity jeans to something with a waistband?
For the record, the weight is coming off -- almost 25 pounds so far (only 20 or so to go to get back to my pre-IVF weight -- yikes). But the thought of fitting in a Weight Watchers meeting or summoning up the mental energy to count points is pretty hilarious.
I guess my "pull something random out of the freezer and wash it down with a Chips Ahoy cookie" diet will have to do for now....
I've gotten some of those emails, too! Except, I haven't had my baby yet...oops! :-)
I have a 3 and a 1/2 month old and am JUST starting to diet. It's not worth it in the beginning, what with the no sleeping, breastfeeding, and constantly being needed. Wait until it's right for you.
Love your blog by the way, I wish I would have continued to post after having mine instead of just starting back up now. Better late than never!
Remember that it's January, so all of the weight loss/New Years resolution stuff is still hitting full force. You are doing fine, keep up the slow but steady. You need to make sure that milk production is going strong. Mmmmmmm cookies.
Hard to resist the cookies when your entire brain/life/body is devoted to milk! Happily staying in maternity jeans at 4 1/2 weeks and counting...
Ohhh! Chips ahoy! my favorite diet. Except I also like the eat potato chips while you decide what is for dinner diet.
Or the just get nuggets on the way home since you;re so hungry you can;t even think about dinner diet.
thinking of you,
waistbands are overrated.
I'm all about the comfy.
I gave you an award! Visit my blog to find out what it is.
