Bye, bye, bathroom

The demolition started this morning.

I took my last shower in our shower.

The Mr. took his last poo in our toilet (and was very proud of it, thankyouverymuch).

The contractor found termites in our wall.

Tonight we move into my mom's house.

Tomorrow we pick tile, fixtures and a tub.

Does life get any more exciting than this????

I don't know what is more exciting. A new bathroom or new kitchen? I think a new kick ass tub in the bathroom wins!

Hope the remodel goes well and quickly!

Glad you found the termites- cannot wait to see before and after pics of your place! Now you don't have to drive to your mom's place if she doesn't answer the phone at least, right? ;)

I can't believe you're dealing with all of this while pregnant. More power to you! As someone who has an insatiable appetite for remodeling and has just lived through a recent redesign of one floor of my house... GOOD LUCK!

Just a warning: The old saying "double the budget and double the time" is often true.
