I finally went to go see the new Twilight movie yesterday. With my mom -- which I know is kind of weird, but we tend to have the same taste in fantasy men. Short review in a nutshell: while I've always been an Edward girl, I say yes to the chest. The werewolf chest. Some woman (I'm assuming, but I live in the SF Bay Area so I guess you never know) actually clapped when Jacob took his shirt off for the first time. Which were my sentiments exactly.
Ahem. So, just to demonstrate how riveted I was to the screen, I will let you know that I did not get up once in two hours, despite:
1) Having to pee desperately; and
2) Having somewhat painful and regular contractions during the second half of the movie.
The contraction thing is new -- I've been having them on and off for the last few days, and it's interesting. Last night the Mr. whipped out his stopwatch when I had a few more, but I'm pretty sure that was more of a "too much buttered popcorn" episode than anything else. I can see, though, how the last few weeks can drive a person a little crazy.
Chill out, chicklette. The doctor is out of town until next week.

I plan to go see New Moon tonight with my husband. He has no idea what he is in for! I will try to keep my ooohhhs and aaahhhh's to a minimum:) Seriously, those guys are HOT! Yum!
A. I didn't realize you were a local!
2. I'm not normally the "boycrazy" type, But DAYUM I left that movie all hot and bothered. Good lord there was like 70 minutes total of bare chests! SO HAWT. I'm still an Edward girl, the part were he was being held back by the Volturi, practically had me fanning myself.
C. Braxton Hicks?
I went in as Team Edward and left as Team Both! YUM!!!
I just saw that movie and other than the man candy it was okay. I don't understand the Edward stuff, he always looks like he just got off a 4 day bender. But after several views of those delicious bare chests, my hubby had to start covering my eyes. :)
Team Jacob! Love that hot bod!
Keep us updated on the contractions. :)
All I can say is that Jacob is HOT HOT HOT. I think I clapped, screamed and gasped when he took his shirt off and kept it off throughout the movie. I have switched from the Edward camp, because he left her high and dry, to the Jacob camp. Can't wait until June - feel like I'm 16 again! :-)
My sister had regular & painful contractions the last month of her pregnancy. She kept calling her doctor & midwife about it and even went in for an exam, only to be told that she wasn't dilated/effaced and was over-reacting to Braxton Hicks. What's funny, though, is that when she was finally in active labor, her contractions exactly matched the pain and intensity of her so-called b.h. contractions from earlier in the month.
I've been having contractions for the last few weeks too! I keep hoping that they actually turn into something - but they never do - they just show up randomly at annoying times!
I can't wait to see New Moon...maybe this weekend...
embarrassed to admit it but hey, you folks know all about my cervical mucous ferchrissakes, so I will now categorically state that even though he is young enough to be my son, I am totally a member of team jacob.

Hey, how are things going? Any updates on the contracting front? I hope you had a happy Thanksgiving!
I've never had to pee as bad as I did during New Moon, but I was determined not to leave! Besides, I think the teen girls on either side of me would've stoned me if I blocked the screen.
I believe I am both Team Edward and Team Jacob after reading the book a second time and having seen the movie. I just can't choose!!!
Your posts crack me up, and are totally interesting to me because I'm just a few days behind you! I completely agree about Werewolf Chest - yum. Our audience applauded too. Glad that baby is in position and you are getting ready. Keep us posted!
