Chicklette's little foot is so darn cute, congratulations!Banana Pancakeshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10935880852135678195noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1160307985142358103.post-49626978683183289172010-01-08T07:18:22.009-08:002010-01-08T07:18:22.009-08:00Thank you so much for that! I am due in a short 5 weeks and am pretty freaked about the birth and pain (Im not very tolerant of pain) so reading that point by point really helps!
Im so glad it was all you wanted especially at the end! I cant wait til its over...not her in my belly but the birth!
Thanks again and a big CONGRATULATIONS!!!Melissa Griffinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09576192288846591203noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1160307985142358103.post-87121024563568936822010-01-08T06:38:33.076-08:002010-01-08T06:38:33.076-08:00It sounds like a great birth story! To be honest, ...It sounds like a great birth story! To be honest, your experience does make me think more about an epidural...(but my nurse practitioner also encouraged it - she had 2 natural births and the 3rd with an epidural and said she wished she had done all 3 with an epidural!!!!). I am so happy for you and thank you so much for posting your story...labor is definitely on my mind lately and it is good to hear real stories!Suehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05323373273366929886noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1160307985142358103.post-82366151008929761332010-01-08T04:23:47.060-08:002010-01-08T04:23:47.060-08:00You did it!! I don't think Ambien is strong enough for you to sleep through the cramping!

Love the pic of chicklette's little foot. So precious. I hope you are getting a little rest. Your post makes me think I should type up my birth story, although I'm not sure I really want to remember mine.

It's amazing how quickly things get better after those first few weeks. You don't think you'll ever feel like yourself again, but then suddenly you do.

I was a mess at first. A sometimes deliriously happy mess, but a mess. For me, the turning point was about five weeks. T is eight weeks now and I finally feel like "me" again, just me with a baby.

So happy for you!Ellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03139221192210606906noreply@blogger.com
